We’ve had some amazing organizations step up to the plate this week and donate proceeds from their Christmas parties, bake sales, you name it they’ve done it.

Members of Union 52, including employees of the City of Edmonton, EPCOR, Capital Power, Edmonton Public Library and Telus World of Science, have banded together to raise $2,000 for our cause.

That’s 40 gift cards, and 40 teens who will now have something to open come Christmas Day.

“We take pride in helping organizations in our city that make a direct impact on the community,” said James Paull, chair of the Community Support Committee for Union 52 Benevolent Society.

“The teens receiving these gift cards are our future and hopefully will one day be our members. We need to make sure they are taken care of so they can concentrate on their future.”
