The 2016 Adopt-A-Teen Edmonton campaign is underway! We’re looking forward to this year’s campaign.
The 2016 campaign needs your help. The demand for help is higher than in previous years, and we’re hoping Edmontonians can answer the call and do something awesome this Christmas.
Teens are not always represented at Christmas time and the Adopt-A-Teen program ensures that $50 gift cards are made available to Edmonton teens that qualify.
McNally High School helped out the program this morning by hosting a Christmas pancake breakfast. The Adopt-A-Teen team had a great time serving pancakes, sausages, and fruit to hundreds of hungry McNally students, staff, parents, and supporters. The school resource officers (SRO’s) from the City Police were on hand as well to make sure that everyone was well fed, and having a good time. The students at McNally put on an awesome show with numerous performances including traditional dancing, singing, and music.
Thanks McNally Tigers! Your efforts and contribution to the program is highly appreciated. You made a difference today.
So far, the program has raised $46, 914 this year! But, that number is pending an update after this morning’s donations from McNally, and general support from the Edmonton public. We’ll update this post with the new numbers as soon as we can!
Don’t forget to Donate! The program needs your support.
