On Monday, Cam Tait reported that 3673 teens have been assured a Christmas gift by Adopt a Teen (http://www.edmontonsun.com/2015/12/21/tait-on-8-still-time-to-help-adopt-a-teen).  Yesterday Claire Theobald of the Edmonton Sun reported that 2600 Edmonton teens were still in need of gift cards this Christmas (http://www.edmontonsun.com/2015/12/22/still-2600-teens-left-on-edmonton-sun-adopt-a-teen-list-to-receive-a-50-walmart-gift-card-for-christmas).  The generous public has responded to this news by stepping up donations, which is great news!

I am happy to type that number has been reduced to 1300 700 teens as of 1pm 6:45pm today!  Adopt a Teen has a goal of making sure that as many Edmonton teens as possible have a special gift at Christmas time.  Although we have had a strong campaign this year, we’ve still got approximately $65,000 to go to.

We still need a final push to hit our number and make sure that as many Edmonton teens as possible are given a gift card!  Please donate now!

Adopt a Teen Donation

To hit our goal, we need to raise $430,000.  If the internet is not your thing and you would like to make a donation in person, you can visit any fire hall in Edmonton and make a donation.  Or you can visit the Edmonton Sun at 10006 101 St or the Christmas Bureau at 4230 118 Ave.  You can also call 780-414-7693 and speak to someone during business hours.  The 2015 campaign ends at 4pm tomorrow, so act fast.

Take the time to make a donation using our secured online donation form.  We look forward to reaching our goal this year!  Thanks to everyone who has already made a donation, and for those who haven’t, click here and make a donation now!
