I just received the following note from Graham Hicks, Adopt a Teen chair:

With hours left in the campaign,  The Edmonton Sun’s Adopt-A-Teen campaign is 600 teens short of its goal of providing  8,600 teens in low-income families with a Christmas gift.

As of 7 a.m. Christmas Eve, 8,000 less-than-privileged teens have received  $50 Adopt-A-Teen gift cards as their Christmas present.

With 600 teens to go. The campaign will continue to run until 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.  Let’s make sure every Edmonton teenager wakes up on Christmas Day with a gift.
Please donate online at  or by calling 780-414-7393 during office hours.
$50 takes care of one teen, $100 for two and so on.

Thank you for remembering the teens!  Let’s make sure no teens in Edmonton wake up on Christmas Day without a gift!
8,000 taken care of, 600 to go!
